Broward's Leading Cancer Center
Memorial Cancer Institute, located in South Florida, is the leading cancer program in Broward County. We provide outstanding patient care through advanced diagnostics and treatment modalities. Leading-edge clinical care and research provided by more than 200 physicians, researchers and support personnel is enhanced by programs dedicated to restoring balance and quality of life for patients and their families during treatment and recovery.
We offer a powerful combination of some of the latest technology, along with caring support from healthcare professionals dedicated to meeting the special needs of cancer patients.
Disease-specific tumor conferences are held weekly and led by physician directors who are recognized leaders in their fields. These experts review newly diagnosed or relapsed cases with the assistance of pathologists; radiologists; medical, surgical and radiation oncologists; a geneticist; a plastic surgeon and/or social workers. This allows for a more intensive, multidisciplinary approach to each patient’s diagnosis and treatment.

Our goal is to provide the highest quality care for cancer patients through a comprehensive, multidisciplinary team approach using the latest treatment options. We maintain an active Clinical Research Department and participate in both National Cancer Institute (NCI) cooperative group and pharmaceutical industry-sponsored trials to give patients access to some of the newest treatment options. And because cancer affects a person physically and emotionally, we host a variety of wellness and support programs to help restore balance and quality of life during treatment and recovery.
